Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda, born June 13, 1978 in Beau Bassin-Rose Hill, Mauritius, is a God-realized spiritual master and the founder of the Bhakti Marga organization, meaning "the path of devotion." From childhood, he manifested a deep spiritual inclination, preferring prayer and visits to holy places to children's games. At the age of five, he reportedly had an apparition of Mahavatar Babaji, whom he recognized as his personal guru.
In 2005, Paramahamsa Vishwananda founded Bhakti Marga, an international organization dedicated to promoting bhakti, or devotion, as a path to divine realization. He is also a Kriya Yoga master and a direct disciple of Mahavatar Babaji. Together, they introduced Kriya Yoga techniques aimed at developing bhakti and enabling practitioners to experience their own unique relationship with the Divine.
